Hi. I'm an experienced German- trained carpenter/hand worker who was based and taught in Marburg Germany, just north of Frankfurt.
After completing my carpentry apprenticeship in 2022 I briefly worked privately learning more skills whilst earning, before entering the commercial plane kitchen industry for 4 solid years.
There I learnt precision and speed.

Commercial Plane Kitchen Builder
Translated into "Composite technology- by Jens Weide"
At Verbundtechnik Weide, I worked with aerospace-grade materials to create lightweight, high-precision components. Aluminium profiles are cut to length and pinned onto fire-resistant boards along with flooring fixings for bolts. The components are then glued onto the panels then transported out, once Quality Control has quality checked all parts for faults. Assembling individual cupboard parts from lightweight panels based on technical construction documents. Inspection of the manufactured components and individual parts for dimensional accuracy, quality, and completeness.
Listing of skills required in field:
Skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings and working within tolerances for quarter millimetre positioning of special glued on materials. Cutting aluminium T6 U- shaped profiles, experience with pneumatic drill and compressed air, electric power tools, 2-compentent Scotch brand adhesives. Installations of inserted anti-vibration threads for screws. Working with light weight fire resistant Nomex boards, primer paints for aluminium floor fixtures to avoid corrosion. Experience with sheet cutting machinery, and digitalised routing machines.

The Wondratscheks
Repainted, repaired and attached new wooden Fassade for an elderly couple. Manged the materials needed and time management, ensuring I could work at the Block House afterwards. I met the customers wishes and produced his duo- coloured patteren vision for his home. I was paid handsomely per hour.
Journeymans Piece
A tapered legged corridor furniture piece.
Used daily, serving all of the basics needed before you walk out the door. Built with hard oak wood and matt black lacquered doors, using a combination of machine and hand crafting skills.
The Block House
A Family project were I helped paint the kitchen and the complete exterior with a duo colour choice, laid tongue and groove flooring, attached floor skirting, adjusted doors and windows and generally helped out around the new house.
Display Case
Built as a school training project, this mix of oiled oak wood and 2mm glass case was built to display any type of worthy items. From medals, figurines to guns or even decor plants with lighting, this display showcases my machining skills, use of table router templates and finger joints.
